Haiti benefit held at The Ivy. Cause & Effect is putting on this event to raise much needed funds for the reconstruction of Haiti. Comprising a personal trainer, non-profit volunteers, models, public relations practitioners, advertising executives and corporate bankers, the committee is hoping to raise in excess of $50,000 to support Haiti by donating to ActionAid Australia.
The event is being held on Wednesday 10th March at 6:30pm at The Ivy in The Sun Room, one of their amazing private function rooms. Guests are paying $100 for a ticket, which includes an evening of drinks and canapés, cocktails by Vodka-O, as well as live entertainment from DJs Black (formerly Sneaky Sound System) and Danergous, The Martini Club, Roger’s Room and DJ Grass.
The main driver for raising funds on the evening will be the silent auction. So far we have some great items available donated generously by companies and individuals such as Hermes, Hoyts, Josh Goot, The Waratahs, Taj Burrows, Chris Brown (The Bondi Vet), Peter Alexander, Vogue, Flying Fish, Bennelong, The Australian Ballet, Zimmermann, Bistro Moncur, Mercedes-Benz, Taronga Zoo, plus many other prizes such as holidays, hair & beauty treatments, fashion items, sports car joy rides, yoga classes, restaurant meals, pole dancing classes, etc.
It’s going to be a fabulous evening, and with the support of some of Sydney’s top modelling agencies and financial corporations it will have an absolutely stellar crowd. We’d love to have some photographers of yours in place - any exposure after the event is sure to help with raising the of awareness of such an important issue.
